Mayor for the Technical and Environmental Administration, Copenhagen - Klaus Bondam has been an active member of The Social Liberal Party since 1997 (Det Radikale Venstre) and he is also a member of the Party’s National Executive Committee. In 2001 Kalus was elected to the City Council of Copenhagen, where he was the Party Group Chairman until 2005.
